BRS MP Ravichandra reiterates Kothagudem railway division demand
A politician named Vaddiraju Ravichandra helps make rules for the country in India's Rajya Sabha, a special group of lawmakers.

He told the government that the town of Kothagudem should become its own special railway area, called a railway division.
He said his party has been asking for this for a very long time.

Ravichandra said improved rail connectivity would benefit pilgrims, residents, and the regional economy while boosting infrastructure development.
He made the appeal during the Rajya Sabha discussion on the Appropriation Bill, 2026-27 on Thursday.
He also urged the Centre to ensure balanced development of all states, saying the Union government must support their economic and infrastructure growth.
