Singapore’s investment fund Temasek already invests in many Indian companies.

Singapore’s High Commissioner said the fund may invest even more after recent talks between India and Singapore.

Those talks took place in Singapore on August 20.

The countries discussed technology, healthcare, manufacturing, food safety and other areas.

Temasek-backed Shiprocket began trading on Indian stock exchanges at a price higher than its IPO price.

Another Temasek-backed company, Milky Mist Dairy Food, also began trading this week.

Singapore was India’s biggest source of foreign investment in FY2025-26.

Trade between the two countries has also grown substantially.
