India and Singapore Deepen Cooperation on Chips, Fintech
India and Singapore held an important meeting in Singapore.
Their ministers talked about working together in several modern industries.
These included computer chips, fintech, digital technology and advanced manufacturing.
They also discussed clean energy, environmental protection and training workers.
Healthcare and better connections between the two countries were part of the talks too.
India sent four ministers to the meeting.
Singapore sent several senior ministers.
The meeting is meant to strengthen the countries’ long-term partnership.
India and Singapore held their fourth Ministerial Roundtable in Singapore on Thursday.
Talks covered semiconductors, advanced manufacturing, connectivity, digital technology and fintech.
The ministers also discussed skills, healthcare, sustainability, clean energy and the green economy.
India was represented by Nirmala Sitharaman, S. Jaishankar, Piyush Goyal and Jitin Prasada.
The meeting supports a roadmap for the India-Singapore Comprehensive Strategic Partnership unveiled in September 2025.
