SBI Junior Associate 2026: Applications Open for 7,680 Posts

The State Bank of India wants to hire many new junior workers called Junior Associates.

Junior Associates do clerical work, which means office and paperwork tasks in bank branches.

The bank opened online applications on August 11, 2026.

People who want to apply must do so by August 31.

There are 7,680 regular job openings and 1,444 more backlog vacancies.

To apply, you must be between 20 and 28 years old and have a college degree.

Students in their final year of college can also apply, but they must finish their degree by December 31.

Getting the job means passing two exams, a Preliminary exam in September and a Main exam in November.

Most candidates pay an application fee of Rs 750, but some groups like SC, ST and ex-servicemen apply for free.

Finally, applicants must know the local language of the state where they choose to work.
