Indian Cabinet Praises Modi’s Leadership at BRICS Summit
India hosted an important BRICS meeting in New Delhi on September 12 and 13.
Leaders from many countries and international organizations attended.
Russia’s Vladimir Putin and China’s Xi Jinping were among the guests.
India’s Cabinet praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for organizing the event.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh read the praise to the Cabinet.
The ministers approved it with applause.
The Cabinet also praised Modi for helping the Iranian and UAE presidents meet.
It was their first meeting since a conflict involving Iran, the United States, Israel, and Gulf countries began.
Modi thanked his Cabinet colleagues for their support.

The September 12–13 summit in New Delhi included leaders from 11 member countries and 10 partner countries.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping were among the attending world leaders.
The Cabinet praised Modi for facilitating a meeting between Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said the summit ran smoothly and that participating leaders praised Modi’s leadership.
