Vande Bharat Trial Run Set Between Yeshwanthpur and Mangaluru
The Railways will test a new Vande Bharat train route between Yeshwanthpur and Mangaluru Central.
The test is scheduled for Saturday, September 5.
The train will have 16 coaches.
It will start from Yeshwanthpur early in the morning and reach Mangaluru in the afternoon.
It will return to Yeshwanthpur later the same day.
The train is expected to stop at Hassan, Sakleshpur, Subrahmanya Road and Padil.
Railway workers will watch how the train operates during the test.
They will pay special attention to the hilly track between Sakleshpur and Subrahmanya Road to check safety.
The Railways will conduct a trial run of a 16-coach Vande Bharat Express on September 5.
The train will leave Yeshwanthpur at 6:05 a.m. and reach Mangaluru Central at 2:25 p.m.
It will return from Mangaluru at 3 p.m., arriving at Yeshwanthpur at 11 p.m.
The tentative schedule includes stops at Hassan, Sakleshpur, Subrahmanya Road and Padil.
Officials will closely assess performance and safety, especially on the Sakleshpur–Subrahmanya Road ghat section.
