Andhra Pradesh is forecast to receive moderate to heavy rain and strong coastal winds on Sunday.
Winds of 50–60 kmph are expected along the North Andhra coast and 40–50 kmph along the South Coastal region.
Manyam, Polavaram, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Eluru may receive moderate to heavy rain with lightning.
A low-pressure area over south Chhattisgarh and adjoining areas is expected to move west-northwestwards across Vidarbha.
Authorities advised residents to avoid trees, hoardings, overflowing waterways and sea travel during the weather spell.
