Sanitation workers plan auto-tipper shutdown across Delhi over worker’s killing · theprint.in

A sanitation worker named Anil, who was 27 years old, was hurt very badly with a knife in a part of Delhi called Kalyanpuri.

He was taken to a hospital, but the doctors could not save him, and he passed away.

Anil worked for the city's garbage collection service, but he was hired through a private company.

His friends and co-workers, who are part of a union, are very sad and upset about what happened.

They want the person who hurt Anil to be caught by the police.

They also want Anil's family to get money to help them, and they want one of his relatives to get a government job.

To show how serious they are, the workers say they will stop driving their small garbage trucks, called auto-tippers, starting Monday.

They say the trucks will only start again after the family gets the help they need.

The city's garbage department says it will make sure Anil's family gets compensation.

The police are looking at camera videos to find out who did this and why.
