Minister Urges Awareness of Azim Premji Scholarship Applications
The Azim Premji Scholarship helps girls continue their education after school.
Eligible students can receive Rs 30,000 every year.
They must be starting the first year of a degree or diploma course in 2026–27.
They must also have studied Classes 10 and 12 in government schools or colleges.
Minister Kondapalli Srinivas wants more families to learn about the scholarship.
He asked field workers and community volunteers to help eligible girls apply.
Students need documents such as their Aadhaar card, marks memos and admission proof.
Applications can be submitted online during either of two application periods.
Minister Kondapalli Srinivas launched the scholarship brochure at his Secretariat office in Amaravati.
The scholarship offers eligible students Rs 30,000 annually for two to five years.
Girls entering the first year of a degree or diploma course in 2026–27 may apply.
Applicants must have completed Classes 10 and 12 in government schools or colleges.
Applications are open until August 31, 2026, and again from January 1 to January 31, 2027.
