Punjab Intensifies Scholarship Drive for SC Students
Punjab wants every eligible Scheduled Caste student to know about a scholarship for higher education.
The scholarship is for the 2026-27 academic session.
Students can apply online through the National Scholarship Portal.
Applications became available on July 1, 2026.
The government is organizing help camps in cities, villages and remote areas.
Officials will help students understand and complete the application process.
Students with technical or procedural problems can email [email protected].
The goal is to make sure no student misses the scholarship because they did not know about it or could not complete the online process.
Punjab has ordered a statewide awareness and facilitation drive for the Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC students.
Applications for the 2026-27 academic session have been available through the National Scholarship Portal since July 1, 2026.
Social Justice Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur urged eligible students to apply before the prescribed deadline.
A dedicated email, [email protected], will address technical and procedural application problems.
District officers and educational institutions were directed to identify eligible students and help them complete applications.
