Chandigarh Court Summons Salman Khan in Being Human Cheating Case
Salman, Sister Summoned in Rs 3-Cr Fraud Case · deccanchronicle.com

A famous Bollywood actor named Salman Khan and his sister Alvira have been asked by a court to come and answer questions.

A businessman from Chandigarh says he was tricked into opening a shop that sells Being Human jewellery.

He says he spent almost 3 crore rupees to build and run the shop.

He says the people who promised to help him sell the jewellery did not keep their promises.

He also says the shop that was supposed to send him jewellery has been closed since February 2020.

He says Salman Khan was supposed to come and officially open the shop, but another actor, Aayush Sharma, came instead.

Because of all this, the businessman says he was cheated and lost crores of rupees.

The people on Salman Khan's side say the actor himself was not part of the deal with the businessman.

They say Salman Khan's charity only let the jewellery company use the brand name Being Human.

A judge has asked everyone involved to come to court on October 5, where the court will decide what to do next.
