DU Releases Spot Admission Round 1 and BTech Mid-Entry Schedule
The University of Delhi is a big group of colleges where many students want to study.
Every year, students use a special online system to get seats.
Some students did not get a seat yet.
The university is giving them one more chance.
This is called the "spot round."
On August 23, the university will show which seats are still empty.
Students can ask for those seats until August 24 night.
Then the university will tell students which seat they got.
Students must accept their seat between August 25 and 27.
They also need to pay the admission fee by August 29.
Once a student accepts a seat in this round, they cannot change it later.
The university is also letting new students apply for BTech courses from August 13 to August 14.
The University of Delhi (DU) released the schedule for Spot Admission Round I for undergraduate programmes under CSAS 2026-27.
Candidates who took part in CSAS (UG) 2026 but have not secured admission to any DU college by August 22 are eligible for the spot round.
Vacant seats will be displayed on August 23, and eligible candidates can apply through their CSAS dashboards until 11:59 PM on August 24.
Candidates allotted seats must accept them between August 25 and 27, with college verification until August 28 and fee payment due by August 29.
DU opened a BTech mid-entry window from August 13 until 4:59 PM on August 14, with the BTech fee payment deadline set for August 21.
Seats allotted in a spot round are final, with no provision for upgrading or withdrawing during the spot admission rounds.
