LEAP India Shares List At 4.4% Premium To Issue Price
LEAP India is a company that helps other businesses share and rent things like pallets and containers used for moving products.
Its customers include big brands like Coca-Cola and Panasonic.
The company wanted to raise money, so it held an IPO, which lets people buy small pieces of the company.
Many investors wanted to buy shares, and the IPO was subscribed more than eight times.
The shares started selling on Indian stock exchanges on August 14.
They began at 166 rupees, slightly higher than the 159 rupees investors originally paid.
That means people who got shares made a small profit at the start.
Then some investors sold their shares, and the price went down a little.
The company is doing well, with profit up 66 percent in its last financial year.
Now the company is worth more than 7,000 crore rupees.
LEAP India shares debuted at ₹166 on the BSE on 14 August, a 4.4% premium over the ₹159 issue price.
The ₹2,480 Cr IPO, oversubscribed 8.38X, comprised a ₹480 Cr fresh issue and a ₹2,000 Cr offer for sale.
Reports differ on the NSE debut price: one says ₹155.90 while another says ₹165.90.
The stock slipped in early trade, falling to ₹152.25 on the BSE, more than 4% below the issue price.
LEAP India's FY26 net profit rose 66% to ₹62.3 Cr and operating revenue grew 56.4% to ₹729.5 Cr.
