Delhi's draft drone policy ready, aims to create 1,000 jobs

The government of Delhi has finished writing its first plan for drones, called a drone policy.

A minister named Pankaj Kumar Singh told a newspaper that the plan is ready.

The plan is meant to help more than one thousand people find jobs in the drone industry.

Drones are flying machines that people can use for many tasks.

The government will spend Rs 85 crore to help businesses that make or use drones.

The plan will also support research and development, which means learning new things about drones.

It will help train people to work with drones and build places to test them.

The government also wants to find ways ordinary people can use drones.

Before it becomes official, other leaders have to agree to it, and that should happen in about a month.

If everyone approves, the policy will start in September.
