Delhi Records 166 New H1N1 Cases as Total Reaches 2,612
Delhi found 166 more cases of H1N1, also called swine flu, in one day.
This brought the total number of H1N1 cases to 2,612.
Cases of all Influenza-A illnesses reached 3,300.
Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh visited Indira Gandhi Hospital to check its preparation.
The hospital has opened a special flu clinic.
It also has separate beds for patients who need influenza care.
Delhi hospitals were told to keep enough beds, doctors, testing facilities and medicines ready.
These steps were taken because flu cases are increasing.
