PV Sindhu Eyes Historic BWF World Championships 2026 Medal
PV Sindhu is a famous badminton player from India.
She has won five medals at the Badminton World Championships.
Now she wants to win a sixth medal.
If she does, she will set a new record for women's singles players.
Two other players, Chen Yufei and Akane Yamaguchi, also have five medals.
They are also playing in the 2026 championships.

PV Sindhu has won five BWF World Championships medals: bronze in 2013 and 2014, silver in 2017 and 2018, and gold in 2019.

Chen Yufei and Akane Yamaguchi, also on five medals, are competing in 2026 and could set the women's singles record.
A sixth medal would make Sindhu only the second singles player to reach that mark, after Lin Dan's seven men's singles medals.
Zhang Ning also has five career medals, while Carolina Marin and Li Lingwei have four each.
