Ponguleti directs officials to complete first land re-survey phase

Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy ordered officials to complete the first phase of the comprehensive land re-survey by November 15.
The first phase will cover 70 revenue villages in every district, along with 413 villages lacking proper maps.
The survey aims to resolve disputes involving land boundaries, ownership rights and unrecorded transactions, including Saada Bainamas.
Officials were told to establish village boundaries accurately, use modern survey rovers and coordinate with the Forest Department.
Licensed surveyors will receive ₹60 per acre every 15 days, while the government will not provide monthly salaries.
