A 24-year-old man named Abhay Shivaji Bansode hurt a teenage girl who was 17 and a half years old.

The case was registered at the Hadapsar Police Station in the year 2020.

The judge found the man guilty of the crime.

He was sent to jail for 10 years of hard imprisonment.

He also has to pay a fine of ₹25,000, and if he does not pay, he will be in jail for six more months.

He was also given one more year of simple imprisonment and a ₹1,000 fine for another charge.

Another man accused in the same case was let go because there was not enough proof.

The judge, S.M. Tapkire, announced this decision on Friday, August 7.
