Vijayawada GGH Blood Bank Upgraded With ₹75 Lakh Alumni Donation
A big hospital in Vijayawada has a special place called a blood bank, where blood is kept for sick people.
Doctors who studied at a medical college many years ago got together to help.
They bought 15 new machines for the blood bank.
The machines cost ₹75 lakh, which is a lot of money.
Some machines keep blood safe and cool, while others check whether the blood is healthy.
With these new machines, the hospital can give blood to patients faster.
A government leader named Dr G. Lakshmisha officially opened the new setup on Saturday morning.
The same group of doctors also helped during Covid-19 and put oxygen plants in hospitals before.
This will help people who need blood get it more safely and quickly.
