Collector Brings Japanese Vintage Objects and Cultural Connections to Hyderabad

Cherish Vintage Finds will present its Japanese vintage collection at JOY in Hyderabad on October 11.
Co-founder Abhinav Vinayakh Shankarnarayanan connects Japanese objects with Indian traditions such as Navratri, Golu dolls, kolams and pookalams.
The collection includes Hina and Kokeshi dolls, Japanese porcelain, teapots, teacups, fans, Furoshiki cloths, Ikebana vases, kimonos and obi belts.
Abhinav emphasizes the craftsmanship, preservation and stories behind the objects, encouraging people to use them rather than only display them.
The collection previously received strong responses in Hyderabad and at Japan Habba in Bengaluru, selling out at both appearances.
