Andhra Pradesh Forms Three New Districts
The government of Andhra Pradesh has decided to create three new districts: Madanapalle, Markapuram, and Rampachodavaram.
This makes a total of 28 districts in the state.
Some areas will be moved to different districts.
For example, Rayachoti will now be part of Madanapalle, Rajampet will join Kadapa, and Railway Koduru will become part of Tirupati.
Gudur is going back to Nellore.
The government also approved five new revenue divisions and plans to start big changes in how the state is run in 2025.
They want officials to work better in 2026.
The Chief Minister said these changes are necessary for the public's benefit.
