TANCET MBA Seat Allotment 2026 Released; Confirm by August 7
Every year, many students in Tamil Nadu take an exam called TANCET to get into MBA courses.
After the exam, the government gives students seats in colleges based on their marks.
This is called seat allotment.
Now, the first round of seat allotment has been released, and students can see which seat they got by logging into the counselling website.
But students have to say 'yes, I want this seat' before August 7, 2026, at 5 pm.
If they forget or do not confirm, they could lose their seat.
After everyone confirms, the final list will be announced on August 9, 2026.
Some students may get another chance during a special counselling session in Coimbatore.
Students with higher TANCET marks go on August 11, and students with lower marks go on August 12.
The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu, released the TANCET MBA 2026 tentative seat allotment on the official counselling portal tn-mbamca.com.
Candidates can log in to their candidate portal to check and confirm their allotted seats.
Candidates must confirm the tentative allotment by 5 pm on August 7, 2026, or their allotted seat will be cancelled.
The provisional TANCET MBA seat allotment 2026 will be published on August 9, 2026, after the confirmation process is completed.
Supplementary counselling for MBA admissions will be held in person at the Government College of Technology (GCT), Coimbatore, on August 11-12, 2026, based on TANCET marks.
