MHT CET 2026 CAP Round 2 Seat Allotment Result Released

In the state of Maharashtra in India, a test called the MHT CET helps students get into engineering colleges.

After the test, students take part in something called the Centralised Admission Process, or CAP, which matches students with college seats in several rounds.

On August 12, 2026, the results for Round 2 of this process were released.

Students can check their result on the official websites using their application number and date of birth.

The result tells them which college and which branch, or subject, they have been given.

Students who got a seat for the first time must accept it and pay a seat acceptance fee online.

If a student is given one of their top three choices, the seat is automatically frozen and they cannot join later rounds.

Students who want a different college can choose a special option called 'Betterment' to try for a better seat in the next round.

Everyone who accepts a seat must visit their new college between August 13 and August 17 to show their documents.

The college checks the papers and gives the student a receipt to finish the admission.
