ED Alleges Bengal School Jobs Sold Under Rate Card

The Enforcement Directorate has filed another legal document about an alleged school-job scam in West Bengal.

The document is called a supplementary chargesheet.

It names Partha Chatterjee, Arpita Mukherjee, Kuntal Ghosh and other people.

The agency says some school jobs were allegedly sold for money.

It says the prices ranged from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh.

Group-C jobs were allegedly priced at Rs 15 lakh to Rs 16 lakh.

Group-D jobs were allegedly priced at Rs 10 lakh to Rs 12 lakh.

The case is being handled under a law against hiding or laundering illegal money.
