Naidu Sets 7-Month Deadline to Distribute 68.64 Lakh Passbooks

The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Naidu, wants to make sure every farmer has a special paper called a pattadar passbook.

This paper proves that a farmer owns their land.

He has asked his team to finish surveying land in 9,365 villages within seven months.

The government plans to give out 68.64 lakh passbooks, which means a very large number of passbooks, to farmers.

About 32.33 lakh passbooks have already been given to farmers in the last seven months.

The new passbooks are very safe because they have a QR code and blockchain technology, so nobody can copy or cheat them.

With this passbook, farmers can sell their land or use it to get money for family needs like weddings.

The Chief Minister says this will also reduce fights between family members over land.

He also said the government is helping fish farmers with cheaper electricity.

Some people in the opposition party are protesting about teacher hiring, but the government says it has filled many teacher jobs and rejected their demands.
