Telangana Congress Leader Seeks PACS Chairman Nomination
A man named Mohammed Saleem in Narayanpet wants an important new job.
The job is to be the chairman of a big farmers' cooperative society.
This job is chosen by the state government, not by voting.
Saleem went to a party office called CVR Bhavan to ask his party leaders for help.
He gave a letter to his district party president.
In the letter, he asked them to recommend him for the job.
Saleem said he has worked for his party for more than ten years.
He also said he led the town party as president for several years.
Party leaders had earlier said they would help people who worked hard for the party.
So Saleem hopes his hard work will help him get the job.
District Congress Committee General Secretary Mohammed Saleem submitted a representation to DCC President K Prashanth Kumar Reddy at CVR Bhavan in Narayanpet on Friday.
Saleem requested that his name be recommended to the Congress high command for the post of Chairman of the Narayanpet Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society (PACS).
The PACS Chairman post is expected to be filled through the State Government's nominated appointments.
Saleem said he has served the party for more than a decade and worked as Narayanpet Town Congress President from 2017 to 2023.
AICC Telangana In-charge Meenakshi Natarajan and TPCC President Mahesh Goud had announced priority for former mandal and town presidents and senior leaders in filling nominated posts.
