Scandinavian Airlines, also called SAS, is an airline that flies people to different countries.

It has decided to start a new flight route between two big cities: Copenhagen and Mumbai.

Copenhagen is in Denmark, and Mumbai is in India.

The new flights will begin on October 1.

SAS wanted to start these flights earlier, on June 2.

But the first flight had to turn back to Copenhagen after flying for eight hours.

That happened because the airline did not have the right permission from the aviation authority yet.

Now SAS has all the approvals it needs.

The airline will fly this route five times a week.

Passengers can also connect to other cities in Europe and North America.
