Ahmedabad-Bhagalpur Amrit Bharat Express Begins August 26 With Route Details
A new train will connect Ahmedabad in Gujarat with Bhagalpur in Bihar.
It will run once each week in both directions.
The Ahmedabad-to-Bhagalpur train will start on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
It will leave Ahmedabad in the evening and reach Bhagalpur early Friday morning.
The return train will leave Bhagalpur on Friday, August 28.
It will reach Ahmedabad early Sunday morning.
The train will stop at many stations, including Kota, Agra, Patna and Jamalpur.
It is being introduced to help meet passenger demand and improve rail links between western and eastern India.
The train will have sleeping coaches, general coaches and a pantry car.
Train 19423 will begin weekly service from Ahmedabad to Bhagalpur on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
The return train, 19424, will start from Bhagalpur on Friday, August 28, 2026.
Train 19423 will depart Ahmedabad at 6:30 p.m. and arrive in Bhagalpur at 6:40 a.m. on Friday.
The service is a regularised and extended version of the 09447/09448 Ahmedabad-Patna-Ahmedabad Clone Special.
The 22-coach train will include 11 Sleeper Class, eight General Second Class, two LSLRD and one Pantry Car coach.
