CBI Chargesheet Reveals Two Routes of NEET Paper Leak
The CBI, India's top investigative agency, filed a legal document in a Delhi court saying that 13 people helped leak the 2026 NEET exam questions.
They used two phone‑chat routes that went through Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and either Haryana or Kerala.
Some of the accused are experts who work for the exam board, and others run coaching schools.
A phone from one of the accused had 132 handwritten chemistry questions, most of which matched the official exam.
The first hint that the papers were leaked came from a teacher in Rajasthan who got PDFs from a student in Kerala and told the exam board about it.

Accused include NTA subject experts, coaching‑institute owners, and intermediaries who allegedly paid up to ₹5 lakh for leaked questions.
Motegoankar’s mobile phone yielded 132 handwritten chemistry questions, 111 matching the NTA master set, recovered on April 23.
First evidence of the leak came from a May 7 email by Rajasthan teacher Shashikant Suthar, who received PDFs from a Kerala student.
