Tripura sand artist promotes Har Ghar Tiranga with Netaji sculpture

A man named Krishna Debnath makes art out of sand.

He made a big sand picture in the city of Agartala.

The picture shows Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, an important leader from India's past.

He made it to cheer for a special campaign called 'Har Ghar Tiranga'.

That name means 'Tiranga in every home'.

The Tiranga is the name for India's flag.

The campaign asks everyone in India to put up the flag at their homes for Independence Day.

Independence Day is on August 15 every year, and this year India turns 80 years old.

The campaign started on August 9 and will end on August 17.

People can go online to join, take a selfie with the flag, and get a certificate.

This year, people are also being encouraged to sing 'Vande Mataram', India's National Song, which turns 150 years old.
