State Government Releases Rs 233 Crore to Private Hospitals

The state government has paid private hospitals Rs 233 crore.

These hospitals treat people through government health schemes.

The money included payments under the Dr NTR Vaidya Seva scheme and the Bill Discount Scheme.

Another Rs 23 crore for the Employees Health Scheme is ready to be paid.

So far this financial year, private hospitals have received Rs 1,657 crore under different schemes.

The health minister said hospitals are important partners in caring for patients.

He said the government would settle eligible hospital bills according to the rules.

Timely payments are meant to help hospitals continue providing healthcare without interruption.
