Pink Power Run Links Community Distance to Breast Cancer Screening
The Pink Power Run is a large running event that also supports breast health.
People can join races of different lengths, including a new half marathon.
Together, the runners’ distances will be added up.
Every 100 kilometers will pay for one breast cancer screening and one mammogram.
These tests will be given free to an underprivileged patient.
The Sudha Reddy Foundation is working with AIG Hospitals on the plan.
The event will happen on September 27 near Hussainsagar.
Organizers hope it will encourage exercise, awareness and early detection of breast cancer.

The Sudha Reddy Foundation and AIG Hospitals launched the Miles for Mammograms initiative as part of a social-impact programme.
Pink Power Run 3.0 is scheduled for September 27 at People’s Plaza beside Hussainsagar and is expected to attract more than 20,000 participants.
The event will include its first official 21.097-km half marathon, alongside 10-km, 5-km and 3-km races.
The event offers a ₹75 lakh prize pool, with awards for more than 100 winners, and registrations remain open until September 25.
