Goa Launches Eleven-Temple Circuit With Senior Citizen Concession
Goa has started a special tour that visits 11 temples.
It is called the Ekadasha Teertha Yatra.
The first group included 27 women who visited four temples in one day.
The tour began at Shree Mahadev Temple in Tambdi Surla.
It also included temples at Marcel, Khandola and Savoi-Verem.
Senior citizens can get a 50 per cent discount for taking part.
Officials want people to learn more about Goa’s traditions and history.
They also hope visitors will explore places beyond Goa’s beaches.
