Ambala Protest Turns Violent as Sikhs Demand Arrest of Chief
A group of Sikh people gathered together in a city called Ambala in India.
They were upset and wanted the police to arrest a man named Gursimran Singh Mand.

The group blocked a big road called a highway so cars and trucks could not pass.
Police officers came and asked them politely to move.
Some people in the crowd did not listen and hurt the police with weapons.
One police officer got hurt on his hand by a battle-axe.
The police then cleared the road so traffic could move again.
A few police officers were hurt and taken to the hospital.
