It costs about ₹7.80 lakh and can claim up to 230 km of range.

The Tata Tiago EV is a more traditional hatchback with two battery choices.

Its claimed range is between 250 km and 293 km.

The Tata Punch EV is larger and looks more like a small SUV, with a claimed range of up to 350 km.

Maruti Suzuki has also started making electric vehicles at a new plant in Gujarat.

This new factory may help the company supply more of its eVitara electric car.
