Rahul Gandhi, Rijiju Trade Questions Over Women's Quota, Delimitation

There are two important groups of grown-ups in India who make rules for the country.

Recently, they started arguing about how to help women have a bigger voice in government.

One leader, Rahul Gandhi, said India can only move forward when women are free to speak up and ask questions.

Another leader, Kiren Rijiju, asked whether Rahul Gandhi's group would support a special law for women.

This law is called the Women's Reservation Bill.

Rahul Gandhi then asked why that law was being mixed together with a different plan called delimitation.

Delimitation is about how voting areas are divided up.

The two leaders could not agree on how these things are connected.
