Gemini tops 1 billion monthly users, Google's fastest-growing product

Google makes a smart computer helper called Gemini.

It can answer questions, do tasks, and talk to people.

Google's boss, Sundar Pichai, shared exciting news on a website called X. He said that one billion people use Gemini every month.

That is a lot — more than one out of every eight people on Earth.

Pichai said Gemini is the fastest-growing product Google has ever made, and only the 14th Google product to reach so many users.

Many people talk to Gemini with their voice instead of typing.

Gemini also makes over 150 million pictures every day.

It keeps growing, going from 400 million monthly users in May 2025 to nearly one billion now.
