TMC MLA Hospitalised During CID Panchayat Violence Questioning

Trinamool Congress MLA Paresh Ram Das was answering questions from the CID.

The questions were about violence during the 2023 panchayat elections.

He arrived at the CID office at about 11 a.m.

Later, at around 4 p.m., he said he had chest pain and trouble breathing.

Officials took him to SSKM Hospital.

Doctors gave him oxygen and kept him under observation.

His condition was described as stable.

Supporters became worried after he posted a message that sounded like a goodbye before the questioning.

Sources close to him said he had already been unwell and had recently received treatment in Chennai.
