Ex-Australia star Moises Henriques named new T20 captain of Portugal
A famous cricket player named Moises Henriques is now the captain of Portugal's cricket team.
He used to play for Australia's national cricket team.
He also played in a big cricket league in India.
Portugal wants to qualify for the T20 World Cup for the very first time.
Henriques will lead the team in a qualifying tournament in Europe.
He was actually born in Portugal, in a place called Madeira.
That same place is where soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo is from.
Henriques moved to Australia when he was a small child.
Now he has come back to lead Portugal's cricket team.
Moises Henriques, who played all three formats for Australia and featured in the Indian Premier League, has been named captain of Portugal's cricket team.
The Portuguese Cricket Federation announced the squad for the T20 World Cup Europe Sub-regional Qualifier C on Tuesday.
Henriques will lead Portugal in their bid to qualify for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup for the first time.
Henriques was born in Madeira, the hometown of Portugal national team captain Cristiano Ronaldo, before moving to Australia as a child.
The appointment links Henriques to another Portuguese national team captain, as Madeira is also Ronaldo's hometown.
