GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg Takes Additional Charge of VMRDA
Ketan Garg is the commissioner of the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation.
He has now been given an extra job at the Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority.
His new role is called the in-charge Metropolitan Commissioner.
Garg formally started this additional role on Saturday.
The ceremony took place at the VMRDA office in Visakhapatnam.
A government order gave him this responsibility.
He will continue doing both jobs for now.
The arrangement will last until the newly posted commissioner joins or new instructions are issued.

The additional assignment was issued under Government Order 1075 by the State Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department.
Garg will continue holding both the GVMC commissioner and VMRDA in-charge positions.
He will retain the VMRDA responsibility until the newly posted Metropolitan Commissioner assumes office or further orders are issued.
