80-Year-Old Man Dies After Alleged Hospital Fall in Mumbai
An 80-year-old man named Najmuddin Yusuf Ali Kapadia was being treated at Noor Hospital in Mumbai.
He had been admitted since September 1 because of a urinary infection.
On September 3, he reportedly had a cardiac arrest and was taken to the intensive care unit.
After his condition improved, he was moved to a ward on the hospital’s fifth floor.
On September 7, he allegedly fell or jumped from that floor.
He was badly injured.
A hospital doctor examined him and declared him dead.
Police are investigating what happened.
