Crucifix Vandalised Near Dadar’s Gokhale Road
A crucifix near Gokhale Road in Dadar, Mumbai, was damaged by unknown people.
This is the second time this year that something like this has happened in the area.
The first time was in March on Bhavani Shankar Road.
The local Christian community is upset and has asked the police to catch the people responsible.
They also want the police to make sure this doesn't happen again.
The crucifix is taken care of by the St Francis Xavier Community of the Our Lady of Salvation parish.
A group called the Watchdog Foundation has also written to the police and the government about this incident.

The police have been requested to register a formal complaint, conduct a prompt investigation, and secure the premises.
