Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy directed officials to develop more attractive uniforms using a wider range of colours and diverse designs.
Officials said one uniform set had been distributed, with a second set due by the end of September; two sets were reportedly already supplied to KGBVs and Model Schools.
The meeting reviewed distribution of notebooks, plates, glasses, bowls, bedsheets, towels and other materials to students in state-run institutions.
Reddy ordered officials to prepare an advance plan so uniforms and other supplies reach students on the first day of the next academic year.
