Heavy Rain Washes Away Uttarakhand Highway, Blocks Devprayag Route
Heavy rain has damaged roads in Uttarakhand.

National Highway-707A was completely washed away beyond Dimta Bend in Tehri Garhwal after heavy rainfall.
The highway is closed between Dimta Bend and Jeevan Ashram, with traffic diverted through Mussoorie Bend toward Vikasnagar.
Debris has blocked National Highway-07 near Devprayag, along with eight PMGSY roads and seven PWD roads.
Some areas recorded more than 200 millimetres of rain in one day, while rivers including the Tamsa, Tons, Asan and Rispana rose.
Char Dham pilgrims were urged to follow safety advisories, avoid risky areas and remain at designated safe locations if travel is halted.
