Two Workers Killed in Mumbai Metro Line 4 Collapse
Two workers were killed at a construction site for Mumbai’s Metro Line 4.
The accident happened at Bhakti Park in Wadala last Saturday.
The workers were coming down from the first floor when the iron staging broke.
One worker died before reaching the hospital, and the other died later that night.
Police filed a case against the site supervisor for alleged negligence.
The workers had come from West Bengal and had worked at the site for several months.
The agency building the metro line did not publicly announce the deaths for several days.
This line had another deadly construction accident in Mulund in February.
