RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat Urges Prosperous India to Become 'Vishwaguru'
Mohan Bhagwat is the leader of a big Indian organization called the RSS.
On India's 80th Independence Day, he gave a speech in Nagpur after raising the Indian flag.
He said India should become a happy, safe, and successful country.
He wants India to help the whole world and become its guide, which he calls 'Vishwaguru'.
He warned that some people and forces are trying to stop India from doing this.
He reminded everyone that people made sacrifices for nearly 90 years to win freedom.
He explained what the colours of the Indian flag mean.
Saffron stands for action, knowledge, and sacrifice; white stands for purity and discipline; and green stands for prosperity.
He said the Ashoka Chakra shows that different people can still be united, just like its spokes all come from one centre.
He believes it is everyone's duty to protect India's freedom and make the nation great.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat hoisted the tricolour at the Sangh headquarters in Nagpur to mark the 80th Independence Day.
Bhagwat called on citizens to make India happy, prosperous, and secure so it can become 'Vishwaguru,' a guide to the world.
He warned that many people and forces are working against India's progress and must be faced without abandoning core principles.
Citing V. D. Savarkar, he said citizens must ensure the noble, progressive outcomes of freedom become part of the nation.
He explained that the flag's saffron represents action, knowledge, and sacrifice; white represents purity and discipline; green represents prosperity; and the Ashoka Chakra expresses unity in diversity.
