IndiGo Launches Airbus A321XLR Business Class
IndiGo, a big airline in India, has started using a new type of plane called the Airbus A321XLR.
This plane has a special section called Business Class, which IndiGo calls Stretch.
It has more space for your legs, special pillows, and even separate bathrooms.
Passengers in this class get to check in faster, have access to lounges, and get really good food and drinks.
The first flight went from Mumbai to Athens.
IndiGo plans to use these new planes for more flights to places like Istanbul and Bali.
They have ordered 40 of these planes, and more will come later this year.
IndiGo introduced India's first Airbus A321XLR aircraft with a new Business Class called Stretch.
The inaugural flight was from Mumbai to Athens on January 23, 2026, with 12 Business Class and 183 Economy Class seats.
Stretch Business Class offers more legroom, calf support, power sockets, USB charging, adjustable headrests, and privacy flaps.
Passengers enjoy dedicated check-in, faster security, lounge access, hot meals, and free alcohol.
IndiGo plans to expand routes to Istanbul, Bali, and other destinations in Europe and East Asia with more A321XLR planes arriving in 2026.
