Majhi Blames Conspiracy Over Missing Naidu Report
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said that a report about the 2008 killing of a spiritual leader, Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati, went missing from the government office.
He thinks this was a planned conspiracy and wants the Crime Branch to find out what happened.
The event was also a book launch about Swami Laxmanananda.
Majhi promised money to protect the leader’s ashram and build a hostel for girls.
He also named a medical college after the leader.
Other speakers praised Swami Laxmanananda for helping tribal girls and fighting bad practices.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi claims the missing Justice Naidu Commission report on Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati’s 2008 killing was part of a planned conspiracy.
Majhi said the Crime Branch will investigate the disappearance of the report and related files from the Chief Minister’s Office.
The event marked the release of a book on Swami Laxmanananda and included remarks from former Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan and RSS leader Dattatreya Hosabale.
Majhi announced a Rs 13‑crore grant to preserve Jaleshpata Ashram and build a girls’ hostel, and named a medical college after Swami Laxmanananda.
Swami Laxmanananda is portrayed as a spiritual leader who championed tribal education, opposed illegal conversions, and promoted national consciousness.
