She tore a muscle in the back of her leg, called a hamstring.

The tear was very bad, so doctors said she needs to rest.

Doctors from the BCCI checked her leg at a special centre in Bengaluru.

Because of the injury, she cannot play in two big tournaments.

The first is the Women's Asia Cup in Dubai.

The second is the Asian Games in Japan.

Another player named Pratika Rawal will take her place in the Asia Cup.

Everyone is sad for Jemimah, but she needs time to heal before playing again.
