A 38-year-old woman and her juvenile son were arrested in Telangana's Siddipet district for allegedly murdering two women and robbing them of gold.
The duo allegedly strangled a 45-year-old woman in Bhoompally village on August 8 and set her body ablaze near Ramakkapeta village.
Police said the pair also murdered another woman on May 28 in the Achamayyapalli forest area and robbed her of gold.
In June 2025, they allegedly attacked a woman during a morning walk and robbed her of a five-tola gold mangalsutra.
Police seized gold and silver ornaments, a two-wheeler, Rs 1 lakh in cash, and two mobile phones worth Rs 10 lakh; the woman was remanded and the juvenile sent to a Juvenile Home.
